Recent case studies

In 2020 and 2021 Michelle worked with a joint venture comprising two financial institutions to investigate opportunities for business expansion into a growing industry sub-sector. The assignment included comprehensive market research including legislative and regulatory issues, competitor analysis and point-of-difference analysis to develop a complete business plan for the joint venture partners.

Financial analysis and modelling including scenario analysis was used for negotiations between the joint venture partners as part of assessment/negotiation of contribution and financing needs of the expansion. 

Over a number of years, Michelle has completed a number of projects with a Perth-based technology company to assess the financial impact of proposed projects prior to commercialisation, and worked with the Board of Directors, engineers and the marketing team to build detailed financial models used by the team for internal planning purposes. 

Working as part of a team including legal, corporate finance specialists and external accountants, Michelle was involved in the drafting, editing and finalising of the prospectus to facilitate an ASX listing in 2021. 

Over a number of years Michelle has worked with listed companies and their legal advisors to prepare timely, compelling and accurate releases to the market including those in relation to merger and acquisition activity.

Michelle has planned, written and published many websites for businesses (large and small) including:

- a mining services company operating in the Pilbara region of Western Australia

Michelle works closely with a Perth-based mining, resources and energy client to prepare compelling content for a range of purposes including regular thought leadership pieces, articles for inclusion in industry journals and websites, and ghost-written materials for the executive team for profile-building purposes.
